Most of us would never consider ourselves to be racist, but judging people and seeing them as beneath us can be deceptively subtle. Maybe we chuckle at seemingly harmless jokes. Or maybe we catalog people into stereotypes we learned at a young age. The danger in harboring prejudice is it prevents us from authentically loving people. And, if we don’t love people, chances are we’ll never tell them about Jesus. The early church had a deep-rooted problem with judging people and hindering the spread of the Gospel.
In this message, Pete Briscoe teaches from Acts 10 and encourages us to have a sincere conversation with God about any prejudices we need Him to remove from our hearts so He can work through us to love all people!
