Who Receives the Glory?

Do we trust that Jesus will provide for our every need? Our attitude is often: We want it, we want it now, and we’d do anything for it. This voice of our culture builds impatience in our hearts. Jesus grew impatient, too, but only when His disciples attempted to do things that could only be done in Him.

Pete encourages us to break our “working for God” mindset. When we attempt to do things for God, Jesus gets impatient. But when we allow Jesus to work through us, the Father is glorified. Will we live on our own to glorify ourselves, or live in Christ to glorify God?
