About Pete Briscoe
After serving as Pastor of Bent Tree Bible Fellowship in North Dallas for almost 30 years, and Leading Telling the Truth a multi-national media ministry for 10 years, Pete and his wife Libby left the pastorate, bought an RV, and started to travel. While visiting National Parks all over the country, Pete started a coaching and consulting business. Pete is now an executive coach working with marketplace leaders, business owners and C-Suite executives. He helps them sort through their personal lives and relationships while growing their businesses.
Pete also speaks at corporate events and leadership team meetings helping companies bring humanity back to the workplace.
After coaching preachers for 30 years Pete has created a digital preaching course helping preachers avoid the 9 biggest mistakes preachers make. You can preview and purchase the course on this web page.
Coaching
I understand how isolating and overwhelming it can be to lead. After years of pastoring high-capacity leaders — business owners, executives, and entrepreneurs — I’ve seen firsthand the stress and misaligned priorities that often come with success.
That’s why I’ve developed a personalized coaching approach designed to help leaders reset, refocus, and rebuild a life they truly want.
We begin with a 2-day, in-person intensive.
- Day 1 is all about listening — we explore your current role, capacity, challenges, dreams, burnout, strengths, and family life.
- Day 2 focuses on building a sustainable life plan based on what we uncover together.
From there, we continue with 22 bi-weekly Zoom sessions to support your growth and keep you on track.
In just one year, you can experience real, lasting change — personally and professionally. Let’s get you there.

“I started working with Pete after years of prioritizing work above almost everything else in my life. He helped me realize I needed to make some critical decisions to prevent going down potentially dangerous paths. Instead of offering general advice, he drilled down to understand my core beliefs, motivators, and areas where I was willing to grow. During our sessions, Pete provided me with a number of frameworks to work through and even some hard, but welcomed truths that helped me identify unhealthy coping mechanisms and unrealized goals. His support provided me with the confidence I needed to take action.”

“I spent many years searching for a coach. I’m incredibly busy at work and I felt like I was lacking a clear plan for the way I wanted the rest of my career to go. As an executive who deeply values time with my family, I didn’t feel like things were in balance or that I was proactively directing my time and energies into the most valuable things. Pete changed all of that. Pete doesn’t just provide sales coaching or leadership advice. Pete helped me truly get to the core of what I wanted to be and then we built a very detailed plan for how I would get there. He worked with me through a major job transition, a major life transition and a reawakening to the activities in my personal and professional life that truly bring me energy and passion. Our time together can’t be quantified by value. I’m a better professional and a better human because of my time with Pete. ”

“When I signed up with Pete for coaching a couple of years ago, I was seeking guidance to become a more impactful leader for my team in addition to help sorting through emotional obstacles that hindered my professional and personal growth. Pete immediately earned my trust and respect by the way he listened. It frequently amazed me how he would bring our conversation back to something I had said to hone in and unpack the event, the intent, the emotion behind what I said. The insights Pete shared about leading and managing my team empowered me unlike reading any book could do. Pete’s coaching helped me better recognize my skillset and how to lean into those with “positive, clean energy”. As a fellow husband and father, Pete gave me tools to help me navigate ups and downs in those relationships as well. Without exaggeration, that input has been a game-changer. Thanks Pete!”

“What truly set Pete apart was his holistic approach, seamlessly integrating professional, personal and spiritual growth into the fabric of our sessions. It wasn't just about hitting business targets; it was about cultivating a mindset that transcended the confines of the boardroom. He empowered me through introspective conversations to navigate challenges with resilience and inspired a level of confidence that became a driving force in my journey. It wasn't just about achieving success in business; it was about becoming the best version of myself. The transformative impact of my sessions extended far beyond the professional realm. It was a profound journey of self-discovery, where the lines between business objectives and personal growth blurred in the most enriching way. I am immensely grateful for the guidance, wisdom, and genuine care that Pete provided. ”
