Do you ever doubt yourself—thinking you’re the worst team player, the worst speaker, or maybe the worst sinner among professing Christians?
What you believe about yourself determines how you see yourself. So, if you think you’re the worst sinner, you’ll start to see yourself as dirty, or as a liar, or as unfaithful, or whatever.
But Scripture says in Colossians 1:22, “But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation…” Even if you don’t feel holy and without blemish, this is how God sees you! Do you believe it? If His view of you doesn’t match how you see yourself, who has the right view of you?
In this message, Pete Briscoe helps you sort through this identity conflict so you can find contentment and satisfaction in knowing who you truly are in Christ.
